Openliven launches a OneSocialWeb Federated Server
Monday, 31 May 2010 14:00
In a time when many complains about Facebook privacy, Openliven decided to support OneSocialWeb, a federated social network platform.
A federated platform means that your data are not under the control of a single entity (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), but instead you can choose your service provider, since providers are able to exchange information with each other. In other words, you do not need several accounts anymore, each by every single social network, as it happlens today: in the future, with a single account, you'll be able to stay in touch with all your "friends", no matter on which social network they hold their account.
If you wanna give it a try, send us an email at social (at) openliven (dot) com stating:
- your full name
- desired username
