With more than 116.034* inhabitants, the municipality of Forlì is the provincial seat of the fifth* most populous province in the region of Emilia Romagna. The IT office in Forli is always searching for ways to improve the efficiency of administrative processes and, like other public-administrations in the last few years, Forlì has tended towards the use of open-source software. Openliven was responsible for the planning and realization of a pilot project designed to the centralize the generation and management of reports; the project involved integrating existing databases and providing tools to customize templates for documents. This solution was implemented using Business Intelligence Pentaho software. Openliven completed a feasibility study about virtualization for the data center using Open Source technologies such as Citrix XenServer and Virtual Iron and developed a GPS tracking system for the local Security and Protection Office. We have also developed and installed Gypsy, a web console for real-time monitoring based not only on Open Source technology but also on maps created by users (Open Street Map). The system includes a client part which works on mobile phones that are equipped with a GPS device. Openliven and Altran cooperate in the public-administration market. Altran's GOV section (for public administration) benefited from our experience in E-Government projects to analyse and develop solutions for public administration. |

Born more than twenty years ago and matured as a result of experience with partners in the software and services sector, the collaborative business model that Euris Group uses benefits from a network of partnerships established with key national and international players operating in the area of application development, system integration, and management consultancy. Openliven provided consultancy services on SugarCRM to Euris Group during the installation and configuration of its internal CRM system. Openliven and the Euris Group also work together in other areas including: the design of enterprise portals using Java technology Alfresco and Alfresco WCM), consultancy for software develop in the .NET area. |

micro.Bo is a non-profit organization whose aim is to develop the awareness and use of micro-finance practices in and around Bologna. Thanks to an agreement with the Bank of Bologna, they provide a micro-credit service to the town and surrounding districts.
Openliven developed several environments on virtualized servers for micro.BO based on Citrix XENServer technology, which is used for the development and deployment of internal accounting applications. Openliven also provided consultancy services for reports and business intelligence on Pentaho.

Fiori di Strada (Street Flowers) is a non-profit organization created in Bologna on July 2006 by a group of volunteers that included: lawyers, doctors, psychologists, and social workers. Fiori di Strada decided to use their collective knowledge and connections to confront the trade and exploitation of prostitution. One of the many services they provide is the presence of four mobile units which guarantee a constant and wide-reaching presence in the town.
Openliven developed for "Fiori di Strada" Gipsy, a GPS Tracking System which, installed on the volunteer's mobile phone, enables real time localization. Routes are recorded automatically and the reports are available for consultation at any time.
