We performed several tests in order to evaluate the potential of the tools on which we base our solutions. The following tests show the advanced features of Virtual Iron.

Live migration with Virtual Iron

A virtual machine, containing an audio streaming server, which resides in a NAS and which runs on a phisical node, is moved from a node to the other, while the stream is pushed to a third machine. The player buffer is reducted to the minimum and there is not sign of service interruptions during the test.

Live maintenance with Virtual Iron

Carrying out some kind of maintenance on a phisical node without stopping the virtual machine. Virtual Iron allows you to move automatically all the virtual machines to another node and to carry out the maintenance without any service interruption.

Live recovery with Virtual Iron

A phisical node suddenly goes off for any reason. Thanks to the NAS and the feature "Live Recovery", all virtual machines running on that phisical node are automatically restarted on another node.
