The municipality of Forlì, with more than 116.034* inhabitants, is the maintown of the fifth* most popoulous province of the region Emilia Romagna. Its IT office is always searching for solutions for improving the efficiency of the administrative procedures. In the last few years Forlì, like other Public Administrations, oriented iteself toward the use of Open Source software.
Openliven cooperate actively with the "Unit of Organisational Development" of the municipality of Forlì providing solutions focused on the optimization of the administrative procedures already in place.
In particular Openliven took care of the planning and realization of a pilot project for the centralized generation and management of reports, integrating existing databases and providing tools to personalize templates for documents. This solution was implemented using the suite of Business Intelligence Pentaho, in particular Pentaho Reporting instruments, Pentaho Data Integration, Pentaho Ad-Hoc Reporting and Pentaho Metadata Designer.
Openliven also made a feasibility study about virtualization f the Data Center using Open Source tecnologies like Citrix XenServer and Virtual Iron and developed a GPS tracking system for the local Security and Protection Office
XAP follows a cooperating model of business,
based on a net of partnership with national and international actors, which operate on the develope of applications, system
integration and management consultancy.

and XAP worked together on differents areas which includes the design of enterprise portals using Java technoplogy (Alfresco and Alfresco WCM), consultancy for software develop in .NET area.
Openliven provided consultancy on SugarCRM to XAP during the installation and configuration of the its internal CRM system.
micro.Bo is an no-profit organization whose aim is to develop, in Bologna and its Province, the micro-finance knowledge and practice. Thanks to an agreement with the Bank of Bologna, they offer to the town and its district a microcredit service.
Openliven develped for micro.BO several environments on virtualized servers based on XEN technology which are used for the development and deployment of internal accounting applications. Openliven also provided consultancy for Reoports and Business Intelligence on Pentaho.
Fiori di Strada (Flowers is the Street) is a no-profit created in Bologna on July 2006 by a group of volunteers, among them lawyers, doctors,
psichologists and social operators, which took the decision to use their competences to fight back the phenomenon of trade and exploitation of prostitution.
Among the services they provide, one is the presence of four mobile units which guarantee a capillary and costant presence in the town.
Openliven developed for "Fiori di Strada" a GPS Tracking System which, installed on the volunteer's mobile phone, allows the real time localization of the four mobile units. Paths are recorded automatically and therefore that can be consulted any time later on.

Openliven and Altran cooperates in Public Administration market. The Altran's GOV section (Pubbic Administration) took advantage of our several years experience on E-Government projects to analyse and develop solutions for the Public Administration.
