• The logo must be identifiable directly to the DolceGmail Product

• The logo must be original work of the submitter

• The logo should be vector graphics, not a bitmap image

• The logo should be usable in monochrome and color media

• The logo must not exploit or offend anyone's sex, race, religion, morality, culture, nor be salacious or pornographic

• The logo should convey attributes of the DolceGMail Firefox plug in such as easiness to use, seamless integration with Gmail

• The core team will then consider all entries and vote on a group of three finalists

• The community will then be given the opportunity to vote for their favourite logo design concept from the three finalists.

We reserve the right to have the winning concept further developed by our creative team. Additionally this will allow us to formulate a style guide and versions specific to various media formats

Submission Deadline:  31st March 2009 23:59:59 (UTC)
Finalists to be announced and the community vote will commence on 3rd April 2009 09:00:00 (UTC). All forum members will be able to vote once for their favourite logo.
Voting will close 16th April 2009 23:59:59 (UTC). The logo with the highest number of votes will become the official DolceGMail logo

Participation
The competition is open to all designers, both professional and non-professional.  Participation can only take place in a private personal capacity.

1 ASUS Eee PC 901 8.9-Inch Netbook (1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 20 GB Solid State Drive, Linux, 6 Cell Battery) or equivalent or superior
   

Submission format

• High resolution print-ready scalable vector format such as portable EPS, SVG or Adobe Illustrator AI

• Design concept / description

• Submitter's full name, email address

Copyright assignment
Openliven will acquire ownership of the winning logo by assignment of copyright, and the winning designer will disclaim any trademarks and without limitation all other rights related to the design (paperwork will be required).

By submitting a logo for entry in the competition, the designer acknowledges that he/she is the person that made the logo and is its rightful owner.

The designer also certifies that the logo does not infringe upon the rights of any third party and that it does not violate any copyright.

Compensation

• Designs will not be returned to the designers

• No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost, delayed or damaged

• Any submissions which does not satisfy the above "submission format" will be ignored without any warning
